Horsley FC 25th Annual Tournament 2015

4 May 2015

A big thank you to all our footballing friends who joined us at our 25th annual tournament over the bank holiday weekend. The sun managed to sneak through, great football was played and enjoyed by all and the weekend proved another resounding success. With a glut of tournaments now available for selection, we are pleased that you choose to come to ours to mark the end of the fixture season and the start of tournament season. The tournament is the main fund-raiser for the club and funds raised go towards the upkeep and maintenance of the grounds and astro turf facility amongst other things. This year, thanks to you all, we have seen our most profitable tournament yet so we thank you for your contribution to that.

Congratulations to all players who took part for their attitude and resolve and warm wishes especially to Will from Bookham Colts who ended up in A&E with suspected concussion after a collision with one of his own team-mates. Thankfully, the hospital confirmed that all was well and he was released later that evening having been given the all clear.

Without further ado, here are the final results by age group and we wish congratulations to them all. Every final in the U9 to U12 age group went to extra time and 3 out of 4 went to penalties:
