Horsley Girls Finish Runners-Up

22 April 2012

Horsley U12 Girls finished off their first ever season with a resounding 10 nil away win against Redhill Town which secured them the runners-up spot in Division 1 of the Surrey County Womens & Girls League.

This is a fanatastic achievement when you consider that league winners AFC Wimbledon have a considerably larger squad and a long history of girls football. In fact Horsley were one of only two teams to beat AFC Wimbledon in the league during the saeson.

Well done Girls you should be proud of yourselves!

On behalf of the entire club the committee would like to extend it's thanks and appreciation to manager Michael Stuart for all his hard work.
