A DIFFERENT KIND OF KICKABOUT
A place in the game. A place to be you.
Does your child love football, but find mainstream team environments overwhelming, fast-paced or difficult to join?
Comets at Horsley FC offers a different way in: a welcoming, recreational pan-disability programme for children aged 5–11, built around play, friendship and a sense of belonging.
Pan-disability means children with a broad range of impairments, health conditions and support needs can play together. This can include physical disabilities, sensory processing differences, and neurodivergence such as ADHD, autism or dyspraxia.
If your child experiences mental health challenges, finds busy groups difficult or thrives in a quieter, more supportive environment, talk to Kristyna and Peter about whether Comets could be a good fit.
We want to understand what helps your child feel comfortable, confident and included. You know them best; we’ll start by listening.
A first touch, a new friend, a moment of confidence. We celebrate the wins that matter to your child.
01
A Safe & Inclusive Environment.
We strip away the pressure of competitive football. Every child is accepted, celebrated, and encouraged to move at their own pace.
02
Gentle structure. Plenty of fun.
Our sessions strike the perfect balance between gentle structure and free-flowing play. We focus on building fundamental football skills, coordination, and confidence through fun games..
03
Small Groups, Bigger Support.
By keeping groups manageable and support high, we ensure no child feels overlooked or overstimulated.
04
Friendship & Belonging.
More than just kicking a ball, Comets is about making friends, boosting self-esteem, and building a sense of community for both players and parents.
05
More smiles. More joy.
The primary goal of every session is simple. Smiles, laughter, and a love for the game.
Fun games. Time to find your feet.A helping hand. A chance to have a go.
